Two Weeks Later: Finding and Eliminating Long Tail Latencies
Blog post from Cloudflare
Cloudflare has improved its network performance by addressing issues in various geographies, such as Brazil, Spain, and Africa. The company has successfully increased its ranking from #2 to #1 in 29 out of the 61 networks where it was previously slower than competitors. These improvements were achieved through rectifying route advertisement, enhancing ingress traffic management, and optimizing upstream selection. Cloudflare continues to work on automating the discovery process of poor network performance and aims to deliver better performance for its customers in future innovation weeks.
