R2 is now Generally Available

R2, an object storage service by Cloudflare, is now generally available after a successful open beta period with over 12k developers using it for various applications like podcasts, video platforms, and ecommerce websites. R2 offers developers the ability to access data freely without incurring egress fees, breaking the ecosystem lock-in that has long tied the hands of application builders. It provides S3 Compatibility, Automatic Region Selection, Cloudflare Workers Integration, Presigned URLs, Public Buckets, and Transparent Pricing. Future plans for R2 include Object Lifecycles, Jurisdictional Restrictions, and Live Migration without Downtime. Developers are encouraged to sign up and start building on Cloudflare's platform.
