Quick Tunnels: Anytime, Anywhere

Rishabh Bector, a software engineering intern at Cloudflare, developed the Quick Tunnels feature for the company's Tunnel team. The new feature allows users to establish an encrypted connection between their origin server and Cloudflare's edge without requiring any onboarding to Cloudflare. With Quick Tunnels, administrators can connect a service running locally to Cloudflare's edge in just one command. This feature is powered by Cloudflare Workers, which enables the management of Tunnel connections closer to users instead of a centralized location. The quick Tunnels are designed to be long-lived and persistent, improving overall tunnel quality of life.
