Panama expands Cloudflare network to 50 countries
Blog post from Cloudflare
On December 30, 2016, Cloudflare opened its newest data center in Panama City, becoming the company's 102nd global data center and expanding their network to span across 50 countries. This expansion will improve internet access speeds for over 5 million internet properties in Panama. The country is experiencing significant economic growth with a high mobile device penetration rate but only half of its population has access to the internet, leaving room for future growth. Cloudflare plans to continue expanding their network in 2017 across multiple cities and continents to contribute to a safer and faster internet experience worldwide.
