How Orpheus automatically routes around bad Internet weather
Blog post from Cloudflare
Cloudflare has developed a new technology called Orpheus that automatically saves user requests when they fail due to network problems on the Internet. The technology works by identifying congested routes and re-routing traffic to avoid these failures, ensuring a more reliable internet experience for end users. It also helps maintain consistent performance levels across different types of connections such as HTTP, TCP, and WebSocket protocols. Orpheus is an expansion of Argo Smart Routing which was already used by Cloudflare customers to optimize web performance.
