On March 14, 2018, Cloudflare introduced its 134th data center in Mexico City, marking its entry into the Aztec nation. Prior to this, traffic to Mexico was served from other datacenters located mainly in McAllen, TX, Dallas, TX, and Los Angeles, CA. The new data center will provide faster access for over 21 million inhabitants of the Mexico City Metropolitan Areas to more than 7 million websites served by Cloudflare. This is the company's tenth datacenter in the Latin America Region.
