Summary

Cloudflare has introduced Magic WAN Connector, a lightweight software package that can be installed on any physical or cloud network to automatically connect, steer, and shape IP traffic. This enables organizations to modernize their corporate networks by connecting any traffic source or destination and layering Zero Trust security policies on them. The Magic WAN Connector integrates with Cloudflare's existing SASE portfolio, including Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Browser Isolation, Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Email Security, and more. Additionally, the software is being open sourced to make it even easier for organizations to connect their existing hardware to Cloudflare's network. This new solution aims to help businesses transition to SASE seamlessly and securely.
