Summary

In late spring 2018, IBM sought to expand its connections with Cloudflare, a company that provides DDoS protection, WAF, and Load Balancing. After evaluating various solutions for filling product gaps in DDoS, DNS, WAF, and load balancing, IBM selected Cloudflare due to its trusted presence around the globe, scalable architecture, rich set of well-documented APIs, competitive and predictable pricing model, and commitment to empowering enterprise customers. As a result, IBM launched "Cloud Internet Services," powered by Cloudflare, enabling IBM Cloud customers to easily purchase and configure mission-critical web performance and security solutions. This partnership also led to IBM becoming an authorized reseller of Cloudflare's entire suite of services.
