How Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) can change an organization

Employee resource groups (ERGs) play a crucial role in fostering community, driving organizational change, and improving the overall quality of an organization's culture. They help organizations become more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Cloudflare has established 16 ERGs since 2017, focusing on various underrepresented communities and initiatives. These groups create a sense of belonging and community among their members and allies through regular connection opportunities and global education and celebration events. They also influence the overall organization by attracting more allies, educating employees on systemic barriers to DEI, and making the workplace more inclusive for everyone.
