Extending Cloudflare’s Zero Trust platform to support UDP and Internal DNS

Cloudflare has launched early access to UDP on its Zero Trust platform, allowing organizations to build private networks without relying on traditional VPNs. The platform uses Cloudflare Tunnel on the server side and Cloudflare WARP on the client side, eliminating the need for legacy hardware such as VPN concentrators, internal firewalls, and load balancers. With UDP support, users can now access applications that depend on near real-time communication like video streaming or VoIP services.
