Starting today, users can add custom comments and tag DNS records on all zone plans through the API and Cloudflare dashboard. This feature helps users understand the purpose of each DNS record and avoid accidentally modifying or deleting important records. Custom tags can be simple keys or key-value pairs. The addition of comments and tags will not impact the resolution or propagation of DNS records, and are only visible to those with access to the zone. Users on Pro, Business, or Enterprise plans can also filter their dashboard for specific comments, tags, names, types, content, or proxy status. The DNS record table width has been increased for better visibility.
