DDoS attack trends for 2021 Q1

During Developer Week at Cloudflare, several new products were released, including improvements to Workers and a new Radar DDoS Report page. The autonomous edge DDoS protection system was introduced last month, which can drop attacks at wire speed without impacting performance. In Q1 2021, China had the highest percentage of HTTP attack traffic, while Telecommunication was the most attacked industry. On the Cloudflare network, the highest DDoS activity was observed in Rwanda, China, and Brunei. Top emerging threats include attacks targeting Jenkins and TeamSpeak3 servers, which increased by 940% and 203% QoQ, respectively.
