Summary

Cloudflare has introduced custom data loss prevention (DLP) profiles for its Cloudflare One customers. This allows organizations to identify and detect unique sensitive data, such as intellectual property or trade secrets, using regular expressions. The new feature is embedded in Cloudflare's secure web gateway product, Cloudflare Gateway, which enables administrators to inspect HTTP traffic for sensitive data and apply DLP policies. Customers can build their own detections by creating custom DLP profiles with the help of regular expressions. In upcoming quarters, Cloudflare plans to add features like data at rest scanning, minimum DLP match counts, and more predefined DLP detections to enhance visibility and control over sensitive data.
