CloudFlare New Jersey Now Online
Blog post from Cloudflare
On May 3, 2011, CloudFlare opened a new data center in New Jersey, just over the river from Manhattan. This facility is already handling traffic previously managed by their Ashburn, VA location. The New Jersey data center uses the latest hardware optimized for performance based on lessons learned while operating the network over the past year. Users in the Northeastern United States should experience improved performance. Internally, this data center is referred to as EWR, after the airport code for Newark. Upcoming plans include establishing a presence in Dallas and adding new equipment in Chicago.
