Introducing Worker Previews: isolated preview environments for every change your agent makes

Cloudflare has launched Worker Previews, a feature that gives every Git branch its own production-like Workers environment with isolated code, configuration, URL, observability, and persistent state. Developers can create previews using `npx wrangler preview` or automatically through Git-connected Workers Builds, test changes on stable branch-specific URLs, inspect logs, metrics, errors, and traces, and safely use separate Durable Objects and Containers without affecting production or other branches. Previews begin from a reusable base configuration but allow branch-level overrides for resources such as databases, secrets, and API keys, and can use custom domains and Cloudflare Access to support realistic authentication, cookies, CORS, and OAuth testing. Cloudflare positions the feature as supporting an agent development lifecycle in which automated agents and developers can deploy, test, diagnose, revise, and verify changes before release, including browser-driven testing through tools such as Browser Run and Playwright. The company has used the capability internally for CloudflareOS and says future work will expand previews to multi-Worker applications, Queue consumers, Workflows, and long-lived staging or QA environments.
