Cloudflare is the only vendor named a Visionary in 2026 SASE and SSE reports
Blog post from Cloudflare
Cloudflare announces that Gartner recognized it as a Visionary in both the 2026 Magic Quadrant reports for SASE Platforms and Security Service Edge, positioning the recognition as support for its unified Cloudflare One architecture. The company argues that enterprises increasingly need SASE platforms able to address fragmented security tools, unmanaged AI agents, shadow applications, post-quantum cryptographic risks, and complex pricing models. It says its global network and single-platform design provide integrated zero trust controls, AI-agent governance, AI cost controls, post-quantum encryption, data protection, and programmable security capabilities through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare predicts that SASE will evolve into an agile governance layer that secures AI-built applications and autonomous agents, supports post-quantum migration, and consolidates security and connectivity on unified infrastructure, while noting its target of a fully quantum-secure SASE platform by 2028. Gartner’s reports represent the opinions of its analysts and do not constitute endorsements or factual guarantees.
