Cloudflare and COVID-19: Project Fair Shot Update

In February 2021, Cloudflare launched Project Fair Shot, offering its Waiting Room product for free to organizations responsible for scheduling COVID-19 vaccinations. The technology ensured that vaccine scheduling applications remained available and reliable during high traffic periods, provided accurate wait times, and promoted equitable distribution of vaccines. Since the launch, Cloudflare has helped over 100 customers across more than 10 countries schedule approximately 100 million vaccinations. The company plans to extend Project Fair Shot until at least July 1, 2022, due to ongoing pandemic challenges and the need for booster shots.
