Benchmarking dashboard performance

In preparation for Cloudflare Speed Week 2023, significant improvements were made to the performance of the Cloudflare dashboard. The exercise involved benchmarking the dashboard's Lighthouse Performance scores and implementing measures such as shipping less JavaScript, code splitting top-level boundaries, and optimizing dead-code elimination. Key results show that performance was significantly improved for most users. However, ongoing efforts are planned to continually improve performance, including decoupling signup pages from the main application, redesigning SSO login experience, exploring microfrontends, and edge-side rendering.
