Baghdad, Iraq: Cloudflare's 128th Data Center

On March 14, 2018, Cloudflare opened a new data center in Baghdad, Iraq, marking its 45th data center in Asia and 128th globally. This expansion serves the Middle East region and brings the company closer to every Internet user. The deployment also benefits ISPs like Earthlink, which was previously served from Cloudflare's Frankfurt data center. Iraq is home to over 40 million people and has a rich culinary history dating back thousands of years. Additionally, Baghdad is the first of eight new data centers joining the Cloudflare network that week.
