Summary

Cloudflare announces the integration of System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) protocol with its Cloudflare Access and Gateway services, allowing organizations to manage user identities and access more efficiently across multiple systems. This enables automation of account creation, updates, and deletion processes, reducing manual intervention and ensuring accurate information synchronization. SCIM also improves security by automatically deprovisioning users upon deactivation in the identity provider and synchronizing group memberships for Access and Gateway policies. Currently, it is available for Azure Active Directory and Okta for Self-Hosted Access applications, with plans to extend support to more Identity Providers and services in the future.
