A tour through Merkle Town, Cloudflare's Certificate Transparency dashboard

Cloudflare recently joined the group of trusted Certificate Transparency (CT) log operators, contributing to the strengthening of this critical ecosystem. The company has developed a publicly accessible tool called Merkle Town that tracks the health and performance of all trusted logs. The dashboard provides statistics on certificate types, frequency of issuance, top CA issuers, and interdependencies between CAs and existing logs. As Chrome plans to require SSL certificates to be logged for trust, it is crucial that the CT ecosystem continues to expand with new log operators.
