Cline CLI & My Undying Love of Cline Core

Cline CLI Preview is now available as an open-source standalone service that was initially a tightly integrated VS Code extension and has evolved to be embedded in any environment, forming the basis of Cline Core. The Cline CLI, compatible with JetBrains and soon VS Code, emphasizes scriptability and can manage multiple agents running parallel tasks, offering features like checkpoints, terminal execution, and headless browser use. Its architecture allows for interoperability and task delegation between different interfaces, such as mobile apps and IDEs, through a gRPC API, which supports integration with various host providers. The CLI serves as a companion to IDEs, managing agents with orchestration capabilities, and is designed to simplify tasks like creating cron jobs, automating social media updates, and developing interactive applications.
