Circle Internet Financial is set to introduce native USDC to the NEAR ecosystem as part of its #StableSeptember initiative, marking a significant shift from the currently used bridged USDC.e from Ethereum. Native USDC, fully reserved and redeemable 1:1 for US dollars, aims to enhance liquidity and provide institutional on/off-ramps within NEAR. Upon launch, NEAR will collaborate with ecosystem apps to facilitate a seamless transition from USDC.e to the native USDC, while maintaining normal operations for the NEAR Rainbow Bridge. Circle continues its mission to revolutionize financial transactions by making money movement more accessible and efficient globally.
