Now Available: USDC, EURC, CCTP, and Bridge Kit on Plasma

Circle announced that its USDC and EURC stablecoins, along with Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) and Bridge Kit, are now available on Plasma, an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain designed for high-throughput stablecoin payments, settlement, remittances, and DeFi. The integration provides Plasma users and developers with dollar- and euro-denominated stablecoin infrastructure for payments, trading, foreign exchange, treasury management, and institutional settlement, with USDC and EURC described as regulated, fully reserved, and redeemable 1:1 for their respective fiat currencies. CCTP enables USDC transfers between Plasma and other supported blockchains without wrapped assets, while Bridge Kit is intended to simplify cross-chain transfer integration. Users can access USDC through Plasma One, and developers can integrate both assets into Plasma applications; institutions can seek Circle Mint accounts for fiat on- and offramps, while individuals and smaller institutions may obtain the stablecoins through exchanges, wallets, and other providers.
