Circle Internet Financial has announced that the USD Coin (USDC) is now natively available on Noble, an appchain within the Cosmos ecosystem. This integration allows developers and users to transfer USDC, a fully reserved, dollar-backed stablecoin, across various appchains in the Cosmos network using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. Noble, designed for native asset issuance in Cosmos, facilitates direct communication and asset exchange between appchains, expanding the use cases for USDC in areas such as trading, lending, and remittances without the need for traditional banking services. Businesses can access USDC on Noble through Circle Account and Circle APIs, and developers are encouraged to build on this open-source, permissionless protocol. However, users must follow specific steps when transferring USDC between Noble and other appchains to avoid potential loss of funds.
