Circle Internet Financial is set to introduce native USDC and CCTP V2 to the Plume blockchain, a platform focused on real-world asset finance (RWAfi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). Since its mainnet launch in June 2025, Plume's Total Value Locked (TVL) has increased significantly, and the ecosystem now hosts over 200 apps and protocols. The integration of native USDC, a regulated stablecoin, will enable seamless cross-chain transfers and unlock new use cases across various sectors, including RWA tokenization and DeFi financial applications. This move will lead to a gradual migration from the current bridged USDC to native USDC, enhancing the capital efficiency and interoperability of financial applications on Plume. As native USDC becomes a foundational element within the Plume ecosystem, it will provide institutional-grade financial services, facilitate real-world asset settlement, and support fast, cross-chain transactions.
