They are integrating USDC and their Circle Gateway with x402 to enable programmable, multichain settlements, introducing a batching feature that minimizes gas costs and latency for micropayments. Additionally, Circle is collaborating with Google on the A2A (Agent2Agent) and AP2 (Agent Payments Protocol), leveraging this integration to enhance agentic payment capabilities. Through these initiatives, Circle aims to establish new standards for internet-native finance, inviting developers and researchers to participate in building a seamless payment infrastructure that supports both human and AI transactions.
