Circle is Discontinuing Support for USDC and CCTP V1 on Noble

Circle will discontinue support for USDC and the legacy CCTP V1 protocol on the Noble blockchain as it transitions toward CCTP V2, which will not be deployed on Noble. Circle Mint will stop allowing new USDC minting to Noble on October 13, 2026, while redemptions will remain available until January 12, 2027, when Noble’s USDC contract and CCTP routes will be paused. Mint customers, institutional users, and self-custody holders are encouraged to move USDC to supported blockchains before the deadline through exchanges, decentralized swaps, or CCTP V1 transfers, although burn limits will begin declining on October 31 and potential destination options may narrow after December 1. CCTP integrators must remove Noble routes before the January shutdown, after which related integrations will no longer function. Circle will provide a manual redemption process beginning January 13, 2027, for eligible holders included in a snapshot taken on the pause date and meeting its compliance, security, and wallet-control requirements, while continuing its broader USDC and CCTP expansion across the Cosmos ecosystem and other blockchain networks.
