Sharper data, faster decisions: Checkr's mid-year 2026 product recap

Checkr’s first-half 2026 updates focus on expanding background-screening accuracy, driver record coverage, identity protection, verification efficiency, and workflow integrations. Its NatCrim database increased felony record coverage to 76.5%, while Department of Corrections release dates became available in 25 states to support more informed individualized assessments. For driver hiring, Checkr introduced nationwide Canadian MVR coverage with faster turnaround times and added FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Program data covering five years of crashes and three years of roadside inspections. Identity verification is now available to all customers through document checks, selfie biometrics, liveness detection, and device and location signals, with early access also opened for SSN fraud detection. New integrations with ADP, Paychex, and Intuit QuickBooks allow employers to initiate and review checks within existing HR and payroll platforms, while smaller improvements let candidates save applications and enable repeat package ordering for self-serve customers.
