Each winner received $1,000, part of a $3,000 prize pool, to encourage the development of innovative hybrid smart contract applications. The hackathon underscores Chainlink's role in empowering developers to securely connect Ethereum smart contracts with off-chain data, thereby advancing the DeFi and smart contract industry. Chainlink also announced its sponsorship of the upcoming HackMoney 2021, inviting developers to compete for prizes by integrating Chainlink into blockchain projects.
