Evolving the Chainlink Build Program
Blog post from Chainlink
Chainlink Labs is evolving its approach to support early and mid-stage projects within the Chainlink ecosystem by reassessing and transitioning its programs to better align with changing market conditions and funding models. The Chainlink Build program, which has previously accelerated over 80 projects through technical support and strategic guidance, is shifting from token-based payments to commercial agreements involving fees paid in LINK or other liquid assets. This transition aims to optimize resources and enhance network growth through initiatives like the Chainlink Reserve. As part of this shift, the Chainlink Rewards program will end Build-related token rewards by July 2026, redirecting resources to higher-priority economic initiatives that benefit the community. Future growth programs will focus on partnerships with strategically aligned projects, although these plans are subject to change based on various factors, including user feedback and market dynamics.
