Blog post from Chainlink
Chainlink’s Q3 2026 update describes expanded adoption of its blockchain infrastructure across institutional finance, cross-chain interoperability, government initiatives, prediction markets, data services, and network economics. The company launched Fulcrum for cross-chain institutional financing and collateral management, announced connectivity between banks and Swift’s blockchain ledger through its Runtime Environment, and highlighted collaborations with DTCC, Bottomline, Infosys, and the Bank of England on tokenized securities, collateral, payments, and settlement. CCIP 2.0 introduced new compliance, settlement, and security features, while Chainlink reported more than $15 billion in token migrations to CCIP during 2026 and over $85 billion in cross-chain value secured, including migrations or integrations involving BitGo’s WBTC, Wyoming’s FRNT stable token, Coinbase, Aave, and xStocks. Public-sector and regulated-market activity included Wyoming’s use of Proof of Reserve and Hong Kong’s selection of CCIP and ACE for tokenized securities infrastructure. The update also cited growing use of Chainlink data products by Coinbase tokenized stocks, stablecoin issuers, decentralized exchanges, and prediction-market platforms. Economically, the Chainlink Reserve exceeded 6 million LINK, Smart Value Recapture reportedly surpassed $24.4 million in recaptured liquidation value, and Circle’s Arc network launched with Chainlink services available from inception.
