The Chainlink Chromion Hackathon concluded with over 3,000 participants from various countries submitting more than 412 projects, demonstrating the growing global interest and capability in blockchain development. A significant portion of participants were new to blockchain, indicating an influx of new talent in the field. The hackathon highlighted innovative uses of Chainlink’s platform, including applications in DeFi, real-world asset tokenization, cross-chain infrastructure, and AI-powered automation. Among the notable winning projects were YieldCoin, a stablecoin yield optimizer; TokenIQ, an AI-driven treasury management platform for DAOs; Yieldx, which tokenizes trade finance invoices; and HTTPayer, a crypto payment server facilitating offchain-to-onchain transactions. Prizes included cash, AWS credits, and the opportunity to present at SmartCon, with winners also being considered for long-term support through Chainlink Build. The event underscored Chainlink's role as a critical infrastructure provider for Web3 and onchain finance, leveraging its CCIP, Automation, Functions, and Data Feeds to advance secure and innovative blockchain solutions.
