The ETHDenver 2022 hackathon celebrated nine outstanding projects that received Chainlink bounties for their innovative use of Chainlink services, which enhance the capabilities of smart contracts by providing secure off-chain data and computation. The top prize of $4,500 was awarded to CandidNFT, a tool for artists that verifies NFT buyers' real-world identities without compromising their privacy, using Chainlink VRF for fair draws. Eight runner-up projects, each receiving $1,000, showcased a diverse range of applications, including a DAO evaluation tool, a platform for selling small token balances, a solution for DeFi compliance using NFTs, and a P2E game utilizing zkRollup for faster blockchain experiences. These projects illustrate the expansive potential of Chainlink's decentralized oracle network in advancing decentralized technologies. The event expressed gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and judges, and encouraged developers to explore Chainlink's capabilities further, with a forthcoming hackathon announced for Spring 2022.
