How to Connect Your Business Apps to Meta Muse
Blog post from CData
Meta Muse, launched in September 2026 as a personal AI agent, can be connected to enterprise systems that are absent from its built-in consumer-focused connector list by using CData Connect AI as a custom MCP connector. Users with a configured Connect AI data source create a personal access token, form an Authorization API key, and provide Muse with CData’s MCP endpoint, allowing one connector to access sources such as Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, ServiceNow, data warehouses, productivity tools, and finance platforms. Once connected, Muse can answer plain-language questions about sales pipelines, customer interactions, inventory, and support incidents, subject to the user’s configured data permissions. The setup is presented as a roughly 10-minute, no-code process, while CData Connect AI offers controls such as HTTPS, token authentication, revocable personal access tokens, optional IP allowlisting, and the ability to limit agent access to selected tables or columns.
