CData Virtuality Q3 Product Release: Trusted AI, Extended Semantics, Stronger Security

CData Virtuality’s Q3 release, covering versions 25.2 and 25.3, expands its enterprise AI, data-access, and security capabilities through enhancements to Talk To Your Data, the Business Data Shop, and centralized authentication management. Talk To Your Data uses a semantic layer, large language models, a vector database, and the Virtual SQL engine to turn natural-language questions into governed queries, and it now allows organizations to upload business definitions as a glossary that continually strengthens shared semantic context. The updated Business Data Shop enables users to discover, access, and directly request curated datasets through a self-service interface, aiming to reduce IT bottlenecks while maintaining centralized governance. A new Authentication Management Component consolidates identity and access management, supporting providers including EntraID, Okta, Auth0, Google, GitHub, Shibboleth, and WSO2, along with SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, OTP, MFA, user federation, and role mapping.
