CAST AI is a security-focused platform that delivers meaningful results with minimal cluster access. The CAST AI read-only agent analyzes your setup and prepares the Available Savings Report without accessing sensitive data or changing cluster configurations. The agent creates specific Kubernetes resources to run the analysis, but only accesses metadata about node workload configuration from the Kubernetes scheduler. CAST AI handles sensitive data by removing such information before analyzing resources and does not access any user-sensitive data. To get started, users connect to the CAST AI Console via HTTPS using auth0.com for secure authentication and CloudFlare WAF to address TLS and DDoS. The platform uses Identity Aware Proxy to establish a central authorization layer for all applications accessed by HTTPS. Once connected, users can run the Savings Report and see potential savings for their cluster with minimal configuration required.
