CAST AI has raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Cota Capital, with Samsung Next and other investors participating, to deliver fully automated cloud cost optimization for Kubernetes. The company's platform now supports all three major cloud service providers: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. CAST AI aims to solve the problem of inefficient cloud tool selection and scaling capacity to match changing application requirements by using AI and machine learning to save clients between 60% and 90% of total annual cloud expenditures. The new funding will accelerate product development initiatives, further accelerating the delivery of the platform and providing real value to customers. CAST AI's approach revolves around optimizing and autonomously managing Kubernetes for any cloud service, connecting existing clusters with a single click, analyzing and learning about the company's cloud environment to identify cost-saving opportunities.
