LUCA and CARTO to work together bringing location to the next frontier of big data

Telefónica, a multinational telecommunications service provider, is collaborating with CARTO to integrate location intelligence into its Big Data business, LUCA. The partnership aims to enable Telefónica's corporate clients to derive value from their data and encourage responsible use. CARTO will work with Telefónica to develop new products and provide location contextualization to big data analysis. This collaboration builds on the companies' previous work together and is part of Telefónica's investment portfolio through Open Future, a management company that oversees investments made by Telefónica.
