CARTO has announced the general availability of its Spatial Analytics in Snowflake, a cloud-based data warehouse that supports spatial analytics and data sharing. The platform provides users with flexible tools to connect, visualize, and analyze spatial data hosted in Snowflake, including interactive map visualizations, advanced spatial analysis, and location-based insights. With this release, CARTO has reworked its Builder tool to use vector rendering and introduced an Analytics Toolbox with over 60 advanced spatial functions that can be deployed inside Snowflake. The platform also provides access to thousands of curated spatial datasets through the Data Observatory and a suite of resources for developers to accelerate spatial app development.
