Raise Financial Services x Cartesia: Voice AI for Financial Access in India
Blog post from Cartesia
Raise Financial Services is partnering with Cartesia to add multilingual voice capabilities to its Indian financial platforms, including Dhan, Millions, fuzz, ScanX, Upsurge, and Pluto. Raise’s AI strategy is built around artham, a 7-billion-parameter language model trained on Indian financial and capital-markets data, which already supports market-news summaries, price-movement analysis, and live-data queries. Cartesia’s speech models now power some Dhan voice-bot functions, including conversational KYC, with more than 75% of interactions occurring in non-English languages and over one-third handled outside business hours without human agents. The collaboration focuses on accurate, low-latency speech for financial information, including clear pronunciation of numbers, dates, monetary values, and English financial terms embedded in Indic-language conversations. Cartesia’s Sonic text-to-speech model supports 11 Indic languages, regional accents, code-switching, and configurable delivery, while Raise operates the technology within its own infrastructure to meet financial data governance needs. Raise also serves as an early design partner, contributing financial-domain feedback to improve multilingual speech-model evaluation and development.
