Private package management with Packagecloud

Packagecloud, recently acquired by Buildkite, is a cloud-based package management solution designed to simplify the distribution of software packages without the need for maintaining infrastructure. It enables users to create and manage both public and private repositories, offering fine-grained access control through master and read tokens. Users can upload packages using various methods, including a user interface, command-line interface, or continuous integration integrations with popular platforms such as Buildkite, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. The platform supports multiple package types and operating systems, allowing for centralized and secure package distribution. Collaborators can be added to repositories with specific permissions, and comprehensive access management features ensure secure package handling. Package management will eventually be natively integrated into Buildkite's CI/CD products, offering further convenience for users.
