Hacker Cup 2023 Recap—Big Payouts, Hacker Collaboration, and Awesome Swag

At the beginning of November 2023, Bugcrowd launched its annual Hacker Cup, a two-month long hacking competition with a theme of "Hack Hack Revolution", which resulted in over half a million dollars worth of vulnerabilities rewarded. The competition was won by Team 12345 consisting of hackers ZwinK, r0ver, and Nim5079, who earned a grand prize of $10K and exclusive swag. Over 70 different bug bounty programs participated, with 15 customers offering bonuses to their bounty payments, making the majority of customers safer with at least one valid vulnerability identified during the testing period.
