How this new dating app helps people find what they Really Really Want
Blog post from Bubble
Gilles Lai created Really Really Want (RRW), a dating app that allows users to filter potential matches based on their relationship expectations from the start, providing a unique and ambitious approach to online dating. To build this feature-rich application, Gilles initially faced difficulties with native mobile app development but eventually discovered Bubble's accessible no-code tools, which enabled him to be more hands-on in creating his Progressive Web Application (PWA). RRW uses six different filters expressing expectations, including casual encounters, friendships, and long-term relationships, allowing users to select up to two filters for each potential match. The app also features a "Super Like" system that allows recipients to choose from the entire list of available filters without constraints. With its no-code tech behind it, RRW aims to "take the guessing out of dating" by providing a more transparent and efficient way for users to find compatible matches.
