Lee Hills is a web developer and designer who has been creating products for himself and clients without using code, and recently turned to Bubble as a tool to grow his businesses. Lee had previously spent 10 years freelancing online in the UK, avoiding coding despite having experience with design tools like Dreamweaver and WordPress. He discovered no-code tools like Bubble around 2014 while searching for a DIY animation software solution, but didn't pursue it at the time. Lee returned to Bubble when he needed a way to onboard new freelancers quickly, leading him to create a dashboard to share his freelance business apps with others. His most exciting project in Bubble was LaunchStash, which he built with co-founder Edmund Amoye to help makers share and store affiliate links. To learn Bubble, Lee used YouTube, the Bubble Twitter community, and the forum, and advises new builders to focus on one tool and start building immediately. Lee's experience with Building in Public has increased engagement on his profile, led him to create a weekly Bubble newsletter, and helped him secure a new low-code developer role at a fin-tech firm.
