Immerse, a pre-accelerator program for Black and Afro-Latinx founders, has launched its inaugural cohort with ten promising entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and industries. The cohort includes founders such as Tosin Bosede, Garry Johnson, D'azhane Cook, Nichole Bestman, Theophile Ossinga, Dior Sarr, Kwaku Osei, Christina Strong-Regan, Jaki, and Jasmin Hinnant, who are building innovative solutions to various social and economic problems. With the support of Bubble, a no-code web development platform, these founders will develop their products over the next three months in preparation for Demo Day on December 16, 2020. The program aims to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in tech by empowering underrepresented groups to build successful businesses and create positive impact.
