The eighth cohort of Immerse introduces eleven mission-driven entrepreneurs from diverse locations such as Nigeria, Chile, and various U.S. cities, who are utilizing AI and Bubble to address significant global issues through their startups. This cohort, themed "AI for Good," highlights how AI can be leveraged for social impact, focusing on areas from healthcare accessibility and environmental sustainability to education and cultural heritage preservation. Founders include Anthony Stowers from Santiago, Chile, working on LGBTQ rights, and Edmond Kofi Awuah from Kentucky, creating an AI-powered platform to preserve stories. Erica Terry of Georgia is using AI for family legacy planning, while Francis Rutledge III in Atlanta merges culture and AI in his ventures. Other founders are innovating in art, healthcare, community planning, language education, and public space inclusivity. This initiative by Immerse aims to empower underrepresented builders to create scalable solutions without extensive resources, fostering a community for impactful change through technology.
