How We Responded to This Week’s Node.js and PHP Vulnerabilities
Blog post from Bubble
Bubble reported that recent Node.js and PHP security disclosures, including the Node2Shell and PHP2Shell vulnerabilities, do not appear to affect customer applications or expose customer data or elevated privileges. After Node.js issued fixes on October 21, Bubble’s engineering team reviewed each relevant vulnerability and deployed applicable updates, while PHP flaws were determined not to present a direct risk because Bubble does not run PHP. The company also confirmed with its core infrastructure provider and other critical vendors that no known impact exists, found no evidence of exploitation, and stated that users need take no action. Bubble emphasized that it manages hosting, infrastructure, and security monitoring as part of its platform and will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes.
