EqualReach Scales Refugee Employment with Bubble

Giselle Gonzales's experience documenting the refugee crisis in Europe led her to establish EqualReach, a social enterprise designed to connect skilled professionals from refugee communities with global digital work opportunities. Initially operating manually, EqualReach faced challenges in scaling operations due to the complexities involved in matching talent with projects. Discovering the no-code platform Bubble allowed the team to rapidly develop a sophisticated marketplace, streamlining processes like project submissions, team matching, and contract management. This transformation enabled EqualReach to significantly increase its capacity, facilitating numerous projects weekly and creating more than 100 jobs for displaced professionals, who now earn significantly higher wages than local alternatives. As EqualReach looks to further scale, it plans to integrate AI for enhanced project management and offer productized services from vetted teams, continuing its mission to create dignified job opportunities and drive social impact across multiple countries.
