Joel Loyol, the founder of Wacht, has created a music video discovery platform that combines the functionality of Reddit with the nostalgia of MTV, making it easier for users to discover new music videos in the modern age. Without requiring any prior knowledge of coding, Wacht was built using Bubble, a no-code tool that allowed Loyol to quickly iterate and refine his product. The app features a list of user-submitted music videos that can be upvoted and recommended by viewers to reach the top of the site. With its focus on building a great product and broadening its content offerings in the long term, Wacht aims to recreate the experience of watching music videos on MTV for users. As a UX/Product designer turned entrepreneur, Loyol leveraged his knowledge of design software and no-code tools like Bubble to bring his idea to life, and now he is part of a growing community of builders and entrepreneurs using the platform to launch businesses and create technology.
